The marina helped plan another great annual party for my bicycling club! The team helped us coordinate with the Soggy Frog restaurant and rented us the perfect slip for my 40′ houseboat, as well as several pontoon boats, so we covered the entire end of the dock. The marina crew (Katie, Karla, Jordan and more) also helped me with a Plan B: if it stormed, we had the use of the Captain’s Lounge and, through the courtesy of Zach, the Soggy Frog. Guest parking was easy, the dock hands helped me wrangle the boats and ice down coolers, and I even had time for a quick wash-down in the slip. It was the most stress-free party ever! The bike club enjoyed the adjacent bike paths and came back to food and drink, plus a full bar at the Frog. We topped it all off with a nightcap at the Frog. Renting the slip meant I could relax and watch the full moon rise instead of moving the ship. My guests were impressed with the progress at the marina over the last year, and they especially liked the Frog. In fact, they based another bike ride out of there a few weeks later.
