I met Hank on the docks when he was a freelance Machanic before he ever started working for the Marina. I bought a beautiful cruiser on G-8 slip. The guy I bought it from replaced the water pump for the heat and air and didn’t mount it to the floor. We took her out on our Maiden Voyage for a little while. Turned on the air and went and had dinner with our family and came back and it was sinking. Called Ron and he called Hank and Hank worked on it all night long, getting water out of the engine and bilge and totally cleaned and vacuumed the inside. I got there at 8:00 the next morning and he was just firing it up. I was beyond excited and grateful that he had done this for me and my family. We became instant friends. I bought a 356-Carver later and had it out there for 8 years. Hank, Mark, Brad and Levi and all the Girls upstairs took Amazing care of us and our 🛥️. I personally can’t thank them enough for all the pull outs and maintenance and bottom job and going out on the dock in sub zero weather conditions, all to make sure that Poppa Dave and Miss Connie were taken care of. Hank even mentioned us at the boat show, that we were going to be the first ones to request a slip on the new M-Dock. Oh, I almost forgot about the Low Country Boils that we did annually for family and friends and also for our Marina Family and we even had a couple of other granddaughters that worked on the docks too. I’m sure that I’m forgetting about 1,000 things that Hank and all the marina staff did for us to always make us feel like part of the Family. We Love ❤️ and Appreciate y’all beyond measure.
